Educational Trip To Jaipur

Memories of school educational trips are among the most prominent in the formative years, as it is the most amazing break from the normal routine of students and teachers. The importance of Educational trips is that it gives students a chance to build closer bonds with their classmates and experience a new environment whilst having a break from their classroom learning.

We at Hallmark Public School, counted as the top school in Panchkula, went for an exclusive excursion in one of the most remarkable historic places called Jaipur also known as ‘pink city’ wherein our idea was beyond “Sight Seeing”.

Some of our explored places were:-

Jantar Mantar:

This was an immersive experience. We visited Jantar Mantar Observatory which has an ancient heritage with advanced instruments of astronomical calculations. Stunning remnants of a bygone era with elaborate architecture at the magnificent City Palace, Museum & Art Gallery and Sabha Niwas lured our hearts. The colossal Samrat Yantra Sundial is the most impressive and mind-boggling. Arms & Ammunition Gallery rippled a resplendent reminder of our royal heritage.

B.M Birla Planetarium:

The next on our agenda was B.M Birla Planetarium. We explored the unfathomable depths of the universe. The grandeur of the night sky at the Sky Show unravelled many mysteries of our cosmos, dispelled the heavenly myths. Science museum and exhibition ignited a novel perspective amongst students. The icing on the cake was MOM show which made everyone awestruck.

Raj Mandir Cinema:

Apart from exploring the rich heritage of the city, we visited the famous Raj Mandir Cinema studded with style and elegance.  The meringue-shaped auditorium welcomed all of us to watch Simba as a Royal Guest in a Palace. It was one of a kind experience which was beyond watching the movie.

Amber Fort and UNESCO Heritage:

The next on our trip was Amber Fort. We were bemused with the infinite paranoma of Indian history, culture, and architecture. The far-flung walk-through the Fort was also not able to exhaust us. Jaleb Chowk, Suraj Pol, Chand Pol, Diwan-e-Aam are the four courtyards that we had seen.  Ganesh Pol or Ganesh Gate is embellished with mosaics and sculptures are an expansive ornamental garden and the fort’s most exquisite part. Diwan-e-Khas, Teen Mausam Mahal, Sheesh Mahal are constructed of red sandstone and marble. It is an attractive, opulent palace that is laid out on four levels, each with a courtyard. The day ended with Kite Flying and DJ-Party. The Charm land of Chokhi Dhani at Jaipur had cast a spell on all of us.

Jaigarh Fort:

Moving forward we even visited the famous Jaigarh Fort located on the hill of eagles famously known as ‘Cheel ka Teela’ hills. It houses the world’s largest cannon on the wheels called ‘Jaivana Cannon’.

Victory Fort:

It is known to be the strongest monument of Jaipur. It is an armoury that had all the war amours, cannons, arms and ammunition.

The Palace Complex:

Laxmi Vilas, Lalit Mandir, Aram Mandir, and the Vilas Mandir are namely known as The Palace Complex is an armoury and a museum.

Shubhat Niwas:

Along with being a museum and an armoury is also Mughal Empire’s main cannon foundry.

Albert Hall Museum:

It is one of the oldest museums in Jaipur where you can discover the historic trail of Jaipur. It is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture and Stone Ornamentation. This grand museum houses almost 19000 historic objects. The museum has a rare assortment of artefacts for the display which includes paintings, pottery, metal, woodcraft, carpets, and even arms & weapons. The Egyptian mummy that belongs to the Ptolemaic Epoch is the main attraction of this museum and it fascinated each and every one. The Darbar Hall in this museum has the largest floor covering in the world.  This is the best place where one can know about Rajasthani Culture and heritage.

Gallery Collection:

The gallery collection includes Metal Art, Arms & Armour, Sculptures, International Art, Pottery, Miniature Paintings, Marble Art, Ivory, Jewellery, Musical Instruments, Furniture & Wooden Art, Coins, Garments & Textiles, Clay Art, Carpets, Murals displaying ancient civilizations, Egyptian antiquities, etc.

A Dream team is a one where everybody works together to make every dream come true.
